Twentieth Wedding Anniversary - A Big Milestone!
My husband and I were married twenty years ago, yesterday. Talk about time flying by, where did it go? I am absolutely serious! Wow.... What a lucky lady I am, for one. He is a good guy, a keeper for sure! No one is perfect, but there
My eyes are getting heavy now, but I wanted to put down the most basic of things here. First of all, we have been crazy busy with life, and both of us are very much exhausted. That said, we new this anniversary was coming, and wanted to do a little something special. We are adding a day or so to a business trip in which they invite the spouse to come along, even the kids very often! This will be in Colorado, not far from the Garden of the God's. Looking forward to that beautiful place there again, and that is coming after our anniversary by a few weeks.
On the day of my anniversary however, I was totally and utterly surprised that I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to my office where I work. They are truly beautiful, I kid you not! Sent with a note and everything. It made my day.
On my way home, I got a text asking me if I wanted to go to dinner. I did. That Sidney's Sinful Sundae sounded good to me from Outback Steakhouse. He checked that they still have that chocolate, vanilla, toasted coconut and strawberry dessert. It was. Away we went. He encouraged me to get what I wanted, and they had this great special on lobster tail
and a small steak, also with a salad. It was all amazing. :) My husband is very sweet, and has a thoughtful heart. Thank you Tim for a lovely anniversary. Happy twentieth anniversary! We have yet to finish celebrating, and will do so while enjoying God's beautiful nature out in Colorado!

When Photos aren't enough....
Great intentions are always easy to have for all kinds of things in life. I have the greatest of intentions to write and journal the biggest of memories so that we can remember them forever. Part of the hope is to get these inserted into scrapbooks as well over time. Photos, stories, documentation of the things we do, achieve, enjoy and live out in life. Thing is, reality kicks in, and life goes on day after day after day.
It doesn't take much, like an illness, getting older, or even a death like we have had in the family, to get a much needed and quick perspective. Its not as if you don't think about the brevity of life, it is just brought home all the more.
So here we are, thankful again for a place to blog, and thank you for that Google! I love the opportunity to blog about what is most precious or of concern to our hearts in life.
This blog in particular is a place to put precious memories, ideas, thoughts, and basically a place to write on life, love, and all things good and even hard, as well. I thank you for stopping by.
